Important results;

2012 Coolangatta Gold finisher in 4.35.30. The first Dutchman ever to do the race, the 5th European ever to do the full course.
World Championships: 
2006, 1st in Line throw 
2010, 3rd on 4x 50 rescue medley relay.
2011, 3rd on the Surf Ski race at European Championships
2012 & 2014 World Interclub Lifesaving Championship, 3rd overall with my club, DLRG Halle-Saalekreis.
2010, DLRG Cup Overall winner, taking out the Board race and Oceanman, while finishing second at the Surf Ski race.
2015, 2nd European Interclub Lifesaving Championship in overall club ranking
2015, 2nd Surf Race at European Interclub Lifesaving Championships

Until now, never been beaten by any Dutch competitor on the Ironman or Oceanman on the Dutch Surf/Ocean championships (that is since 2003, the first year they were conducted).  And multiple Dutch overall Champion (8x Surf/Ocean, 2x Pool and 3x Junior Pool Champ or individuel events: 10x Oceanman, 9x Surf Race, 8x Surf Ski and 5x Board)

Former holder of Dutch National records, in the Open (A) category and 1 in Junior (B) category.
He still holds the 50m Manikin Carry Junior record and previously held the record for 100 Medley and the 50m Manikin Carry for the seniors as well.

From 2003 to 2011, made every Oceannman, Surf race and Board final at the Europeans.

In the Australian surf season from 2007-2008 & 2013-2013, trained and raced with BMD Northcliffe SLSC, the current world champion lifesaving club and it has been the Australian surf lifesaving champion club for the last years.
